Henke Winery is a family-run business that markets its wines entirely independently. They handle all aspects of the process themselves, from tending the vines in the vineyard to harvesting and producing the wines. Furthermore, only grapes from their own vineyards are used in their wines.

2023 Goldriesling Qualitätswein trocken (quality wine, dry) Meißen area
Goldriesling is a cross between Riesling and Frühes Gelber Mahlinger. It is considered a Saxon specialty, primarily cultivated in the Elbe Valley.
It has an exotic bouquet of banana, fresh citrus aromas, a fine spiciness, underscored by a fresh acidity and a slight residual sweetness.

2022 Traminer Kabinett dry Radebeuler Lößnitz
The Traminer presents itself in the glass with a delicate floral aroma of rose and acacia blossoms, along with exotic fruit notes and a pleasant spiciness. Its typical characteristics are also reflected in the taste. However, it is not too strong or powerful, but rather elegant, surrounded by a fresh acidity.

2023 Silvaner Qualitätswein feinherb (quality wine, off-dry) Meißen area
Silvaner originated from a cross between Traminer and Austrian White. It likely found its way to Germany via Cistercian monks. Elegant and delicately fragrant, it presents itself in the glass with aromas reminiscent of gooseberry, pear, and green apple. It boasts a fresh acidity and harmonious residual sweetness.

2023 Blanc de Noir Qualitätswein trocken (quality wine, dry) Meißen area
The literal translation is "white from black." This winemaking tradition originated in France, where grapes such as Pinot Noir are used to make white wine for Champagne production. This "white" Pinot Noir has a lovely, delicately fruity bouquet of apple with a subtle aroma reminiscent of strawberry and cream candy. A refreshing acidity rounds out this wine.

Rothes Gut Meißen, Tim Strasser
The historic estate is located just a 25-minute walk from Albrechtsburg Castle in Meissen. From here, you can enjoy views across the surrounding vineyards. A romantic hiking trail leads directly from the "Rothen Gut" through our vineyards – 15 hectares situated on the left bank of the Elbe River. Tim Strasser is the owner of the "Rothen Gut Meissen." His family has been farming and cultivating wine in Meissen for generations. The entire operation – from cultivation to winemaking – is run as a family business, ensuring the exceptional quality of the wines.
2023 Sauvignon Blanc QbA, dry, Meißner Ratsweinberg
A pale greenish-yellow hue opens the tasting. The bouquet, with its gooseberries, citrus fruits, green apple, and a hint of minerality, is as compelling as the fine balance of well-judged fruit, a result of the nine months of lees aging. The harmonious acidity and good structure tantalize the palate and leave you wanting more.

2023 Hibernal QbA, dry, Meißner Ratsweinberg
On the nose, a delicate sweetness unfolds, reminiscent of star fruit, passion fruit, gooseberry, lychee, and even blood orange. On the palate, a broad and full-bodied sensation emerges. The sweetness is refined and perfectly balanced with the supporting acidity. The complex structure provides a lasting and enjoyable experience.

2022 Solaris QbA, sweet Meißner Ratsweinberg
The wine shimmers with an oily sheen in the glass, a rich straw yellow. The perfectly ripe grapes impart a nutty aroma of almond, hazelnut, and walnut, which pleasantly overlays the sweet nuances of honey, blossoms, and jasmine. The high sugar content immediately creates a broad and complex sensation on the palate. The acidity provides the necessary and pleasing structure, preventing this Auslese from feeling too heavy.

Martin Schwarz Winery
Martin Schwarz had ample opportunity to experiment during his 16 years as head of cellar operations at the Schloss Proschwitz winery: the first Saxon wine aged in oak, the first port, ice wine… Now he has his own winery. Since 2013, the wines have been produced at his own winery – the Meißner Weinmanufaktur. Gentle aging in new and used oak barrels is the goal, creating distinctive wines that impress with their complexity and finesse. Wines that can mature and evolve.
2021 White & Grey Burgundy QbA, dry, matured for 10 months in barrique
A vibrant yellow. This Burgundy blend of 60% Pinot Blanc and 40% Pinot Gris impresses with its bouquet of pineapple and orange peel. Spicy notes from aging in barriques are also present. Full-bodied and beautifully balanced with vibrant acidity, the wine culminates in a lingering, mineral-driven finish.

The Riesling grape variety best expresses our unique terroir here in the Elbe Valley, the Red Granite. Ripe grapes from the top vineyards Friedstein and Kapitelberg were blended to create this very own interpretation of Red Granite.
Fresh, exotic notes from Friedstein combine with the minerality of Kapitelberg.

It displays a vibrant currant red color. The elegant berry fruit notes reveal the prominent Blaufränkisch grape variety.
